Real Madrid's comeback at Allianz arena

2023/24 Ligue 1 champions

Paris Sant-Germain were confirmed as Ligue 1 champions for a record-extending 12th time on Sunday after second-placed Monaco lost 3-2 at Lyon. PSG are ligue 1 champions for 12 time PSG, who missed the chance to secure the title on Saturday with a 3-3 draw against Le Havre, have 70 points, 12 ahead of Monaco with three games remaining. Monaco, despite taking an early lead, fell to their first defeat in nine games, as PSG’s domination of French football continues. The Foxes are back in premier league

Leicester City have become the first team to secure promotion to the Premier League from the Championship this season, and have bounced back into the top flight at the first attempt. Leeds United suffered a shocking 4-0 defeat against Queens Park Rangers to mathematically ensure that the Foxes will play top flight football next season. Their next game is against Preston North End on the 29th, and their season ends at home against Blackburn Rovers, where they could be crowned champions. TNM pumps in millions into the super league

Malawi's leading telecommunications limited compony Telecom Networks Malawi (TNM) that supports Malawi's top tier league has increased money allocation to teams playing in the super league starting this year. The compony will be giving K500 million kwacha and the winner of the league will be pocketing k100 million kwacha.  New money allocation for winners in the TNM super league  There are sixteen teams that are currently participating in our top league tier in Malawi, and each team will be given k10 million at the beginning of new season, this money will be used by the teams to prepare for the new season. The winner of the super league will be given k100 million at the end of the season after finishing ahead of all 15 teams. The winner of the super league prize has increased from k40 million to k100 million which is 150% increment. National women's championship

The 2023 edition of the National Women’s Championship will be played for one week between from 22 to 28 April 2024, with the participation of 10 teams nationwide.  The National Champions will represent Malawi at the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA Qualifier to be held in Durban, South Africa later this year. The Football Association of Malawi’s Competitions Department says the Championship will be played on a knockout basis. The champions will bag K8 million while the runner-up will bag K4 million. For the individual brilliance of players and coaches, they will be rewarded with K100,000. Each of the 10 qualifying teams will receive a subvention of K1 million during the second playoffs and quarterfinals. The four semifinalists will also pocket K1 Million each. Some of the teams who will participate are Ntopwa FC, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women, Civil Service Women, MDF Lioness, Ascent Academy,Moyale Sisters, MK Academy, Wanderers Queens and Silver Ladies.

Inter win 2023/24 Serie A title

Bangwe All-Stars coach resigns

Bangwe All-Stars Coach, Christopher Nyambose, has terminated his contract as coach, citing personal and health grounds. Bangwe All-stars ex coach In January, Nyambose signed a seven-month deal with the Blantyre-based outfit, with an option to extend it if the team finishes in the Top 8 by the end of the first round of the 2024 TNM Super League. He succeeded Abel Mkandawire, whose contract expired together with his assistant Joseph Kamwendo in December last year. Previously, the gaffer was coaching Mighty Tigers but got sacked in December due to the team’s poor performance in the top-flight league, which saw it finish on 11th position.
