THE REDS TRIUMPH OVER THE BLUES


Last night at Anfield Liverpool host Chelsea in the premier league match that ended in favor of home team. The match comes few days after announcement of Liverpool’s boss Jürgen Klopp is about to leave the club at the end of this season, after a nine year streak at the Anfield.

Liverpool played a 4- 3- 3 formation with Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz up in front while Chelsea played a 4- 2- 3- 1 formation with Cole Palmer leading the line. Despite Mohammed Salah’s injury, the reds seems not to worry about him in scoring goals.

The match ended in favor of Liverpool as they won 4 to 1, thanks to Jota, Bradley, Szoboszlai and Luis Diaz goals while the Christopher Nkunku scored the consolation goal to the visitors. At halftime Liverpool was leading two goals to zero and in second half ended in two to one, 4 2 was the final score.

After the win over Chelsea, Liverpool is on top of premier league with 51 points, followed by Manchester city with 46 points but city has a game in hand with Brentford this coming Monday on 05 February.

Yesterday there were other premier league games Manchester city was hosting Burnley at Etihad stadium and the final score was 3 goals to 1 in favor of city, Tottenham Hotspur was playing Brentford and spurs won the game by 3 goals to 2.

UEFA quarter final draw

UEFA champions league draw took place today at UEFA headquarters. Malawi national council of sports 2023 awards

The ceremony  happened on the night of 16 February this year at Bingu international conference centre (BICC) in Malawi’s capital city Lilongwe.
