EFL 2023/24 CHAMPIONS.

Liverpool are the 2023/24 EFL Carabao cup champions after defeating Chelsea at Wembley stadium. Liverpool won the match after normal time of football. 2023/24 Carabao cup winners

Liverpool defeated Leicester city by 3 goals to 1 in round 3, Bournemouth by 2 goals to 1 in round 4 of EFL, West ham by 5 goals to 1 in quarter finals, Fullham by 3 goals to 2 on aggregate in semi-Finals and in finals they beat Pochettino`s Chelsea by a goal to nil after normal time of football.

Chelsea defeated Wimbledom by 2 goals to 1 in round 2, they defeated Brighton and Hove Albion in round 3 by a goal to nil, defeated Blackburn rovers in round 4 by 2 goals to nil, they defeated Newcastle in quarter finals after penalty shootout, the match ended 1-1 in normal time.

Chelsea defeated Middlesbrough in semi-Finals by 6 goals to 1 on aggregate and they lost to Liverpool by a goals to nil in EFL final match at Wembley stadium.

The 2023/24 carabao cup top goal scorer is Morgan Rogers, he scored 5 goals and he plays for Middlesbrough in championship, second top tier of English football. Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo is at second place with 4 goals.

Despite Liverpool’s injury list of more than 5 starters including Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Szoboszlai, Trent Arnold, Alison Becker, Diogo Jota etc. Liverpool managed to beat chelesa with teenagers like Bradley.

UEFA quarter final draw

UEFA champions league draw took place today at UEFA headquarters. The ceremony  happened on the night of 16 February this year at Bingu international conference centre (BICC) in Malawi’s capital city Lilongwe.
