ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE MATCHWEEK 26 REPORT 1

English premier league was played from Saturday the 24 of February this year and it`ll end today on 25 February. Match week 26 started on Saturday with 6 matches and continues on Sunday with a game between Wolvehampton wanderers playing against Sheffield united on Sunday and Monday night football between Brentford and West ham united.

EPL match week 26 results

Aston Villa played against Nottingham Forest at Villa Park, the match ended 4 to 2 in favor of Aston villa. Ollie Watkins netted the first goal of the match at 4 minutes assisted by Leon Bailey, Douglas Luiz scored on 29 and 39 minutes, Jacob Ramsey and John Mcguinn provided the assists for Douglas Luiz goals. Moussa Niakhate`s 45 + 5 goal, assisted by Taiwo Awoniyi. The first half of the match ended 3 to 1 goal in favour of Aston Villa.

In second half, Nottingham forrest`s Morgan Gibbs- White started with a goal at 48 minutes assisted by Divock Origi. The last goal of the match was scored by Leon Bailey at 61 minutes. The match ended by 4 goals to 2. The man of the match award was given to Ollie Watkins.

Brighton and Hove Albion was playing against Everton at American Express Stadium and the matched ended 1 – 1. First half of the match ended without each side scoring, in 73 minutes of second half Jarrad Braithwaite scored.  Brighton and Hove Albion equalized at 90+5 through Lewis Dunk. Billy Gilmour was sent out after being given a red card at 81 minutes. Pascal Gross was selected as Man of the match.

Crystal Palace was up against newly promoted side Burnley at Selhust Park. The match ended by 3 goals to nil, the home side takes all the maximum points. Chris Richards, Jordan Ayew and Jean Phillipe Mateta scored for palace. Brownhill was sent off after given a red card at 35 minutes. Jordan Ayew was elected as man of the match.

UEFA champions league draw took place today at UEFA headquarters.
