Chiukepo Nsowoya who was born in 1988 on 23 september has announced his retirement from football after entertaining football lovers here in Malawi on local level and in other countries on international level. Chiukepo Nsowoya hails from Karonga in the northern region of Malawi.

Nsowoya announced his retirement from professional football on 8 march this year after a 20 year career. The 35 year old played who played for Escom united, Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.
Nsowoya played for Nyasa big bullets and he scored 67 super league goals, winning four league titles, one Carlsberg cup and one airtel top 8 cup before he moved to Mighty Mukuru Wanderers
Nyasa Big Bullets head coach Calisto Pasuwa who worked with Nsowoya for four years described him as one of the important asset of the team during the period the team won four league titles, Carlsberg cup and airtel top 8.
Chiukepo Nsowoya played for fourteen clubs in his football career. The clubs he played is as follows. In 2006 he was playing for eagles fc from karonga,in 2006 he played for Red lions, in 2007 to 2009 he played for ESCOM united, in 2009 to 2010 he played for Liga Muculmana and he was loaned to APR fc in that season.
From 2010 to 2012 he played for Soweto giants Orlando pirates and in 2012 he was loaned to platinum stars, from 2012 to 2013 he came back to play for ESCOM united, from 2013 to 2014 he played for Maxaquene and in the same year 2014 he played for Costa Do Sol.
Nsowoya played for Nyasa Big Bullets from 2015 to 2016, from 2016 to 2017 he played for golden arrows, from 2017 to 2021 he also played for Nyasa Big Bullets and from 2021 untill he hangs his boots he was playing for Mighty Mukuru Wanderers.
Chiukepo Nsowoya made 90 appearances to the flames which is Malawi’s national football team and he scores 24 national team goals.
