A stadium to be launched in old capital city of Malawi

The construction of building a stadium in Zomba which has taken almost nine years is supposed to be finalized at the end of this month. There are other stadiums that are being constructed like Ntcheu stadium, Mwanza community stadium, Chitipa stadium and Thyolo stadium.

Speaking with the journalists Richard Chimwendo Banda minister of local government has confirmed that the constructor is supposed to hand in the stadium to government to commerce its work. The minister added that by the end of this month, Zomba stadium will start working.

Chimwendo Banda added that everything is progressing very well and we are hoping this stadium will be hosting the coming TNM super league. All the gates are good and stand are all finalized. The stadium will wait for Football Association of Malawi to inspect the stadium.

This is a great news to football teams from old capital city hence they will be using this stadium with their activities. Football supporters are also happy to see the stadium in their district since they will stop travelling a lot to attend football matches. 

Phase three of constructing zomba stadium will be finalized while the stadium is working. Richard Chimwendo Banda minister of local government has applaused a constructor who is building Mwanza community stadium of its great and fast work.
