Dynamos sign a west African striker

Dedza Dynamos FC has announced the signing of Nigerian striker Samson Olatubosun Tijani who has penned a two-year deal on Monday.
Signing ceremony

The 20-year-old striker previously played for A.A AZTEC football academy in Nigeria and he has impressed the technical panel in the two weeks he has been training with the team.

Speaking to the team's media after completing his move, Tijani said his dream has come true as he has been looking for an opportunity in Malawi.

"I thank God for making my dream a reality and I can't wait to start my journey with this ambitious club. I am happy that they have trusted me and I will pay back that trust on the field of play with goals," Tijani indicated.

Dedza Dynamos play FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in their 2024 TNM Super League opener on Saturday and lost their two prolific strikers, Charles Chipala and Clement Nyondo to Silver Strikers and Mighty Wanderers Respectively.

Bayern Munich is probably equal parts encouraged and disappointed with how the first leg unfolded. The Champions League is the Bavarians' last chance at winning a big trophy this year and earning a draw against Real Madrid isn't the worst-case scenario. If anything, it's better than some may ha...
